Responsibilities and Expertise:

With over 25 years of experience in Marketing, Bec oversees the development and implementation of marketing strategies for all 21 shopping centres within the Retail First portfolio. She manages a multi-award-winning team of 23 Marketing Managers and Coordinators, mentoring and driving strategic direction across all elements of Marketing.

Bec is a regular presenter at the Property Council of Australia’s Shopping Centre Management course, a judge on the Property Council’s Queensland Property of the Year Awards, and for several years was part of the judging panel of the International Council of Shopping Centres Asia Pacific Awards Program. Over the last fifteen years, Bec has actively engaged charitable and community partnerships for Retail First with key organisations and events such as Foodbank Queensland, Share the Dignity, OzHarvest, RSPCA Qld, the Mater Foundation, NAIDOC Week, and DV Safe Phone which have been integral in strengthening Retail First’s position within the community.

Bec has held various Marketing roles with Retail First, Byvan/FPD Savills, Westfield, QIC, and Mars Corporation. Bec holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Mandarin, as well as a Real Estate Salesperson’s Licence.
