Retail First’s Toowong Village proudly launched Bras by the Stars on Thursday 26th September.  A stunning exhibition where local celebrities have creatively decorated bras to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and support the impactful work of the Wesley Choices Cancer Support Centre.

This initiative features contributions from author and recent Logie winner Trent Dalton, Olympian Susie O’Neill, comedian Christian Hull, Lady Mayoress Nina Schrinner, celebrity chef Alastair McCleod, Ch. 9 presenter Melissa Downs, The Project’s Sarah Harris, Broncos ambassador Kevin Walters and his son and player Billy Walters, ABC Brisbane’s Kat Feeney, and podcasters Lise Carlaw & Sarah Wills.

Bras by the Stars was originally introduced by Toowong Village back in 2004 to support the Kim Walters Choices Program—founded by Kevin Walters in 1998—the campaign returns in 2024 with this beautifully recreated exhibition for a very worthy cause.

The launch event was filled with energy and excitement, generating significant media coverage on both Channel 10 and Channel 9’s prime-time news, along with extensive social media engagement. We encourage everyone to visit the exhibition at Toowong Village throughout October 2024.

Well done to Phoebe R. and the team at Toowong Village for bringing this campaign together. Teamed with Kristin Devitt and Stella Coppard from KDPR. Thank you to the The Wesley Hospital and the Wesley Choices Cancer Support Centre for collaborating with us on this campaign.

Further thanks to Retail First Pty Ltd and YFG Shopping Centres Pty Ltd. for supporting the reintroduction of this campaign.
